I handle a diverse range of claims within the medical negligence team. I am well versed in all aspects of legal practice, including advocacy and inquests. I am always happy to visit clients in their own homes and client care is always at the forefront of my mind.
I have extensive experience in personal injury litigation dating back to 1992 when I qualified as a Fellow of CILEX. I was then mainly involved in claimant personal injury, including some clinical negligence, and have also worked in the fields of debt recovery and insolvency, as well as in family law. I handled all manner of civil litigation work and ran out of hours surgeries together with handling a successful bid for a Legal Aid franchise.
I joined Metcalfes in 2000 and initially worked in the claimant personal injury team before transferring to the defendant insurance department where I handled a high volume of claims involving motor accidents, accidents at work and product liability disputes. In 2014, I re-joined the claimant department as a member of the medical negligence team, so have returned to my grass roots!
I have a keen interest in all manner of outdoor pursuits including cycling, walking, camping and swimming not to mention early morning gym sessions. I am a keen supporter of the Anaphylaxis Campaign in their work to raise awareness of severe allergies, from which my youngest child suffers.
