I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence department and I will be your first point of contact for any queries regarding all new Clinical Negligence claims.
I understand bringing a Clinical Negligence claim can be an emotional and daunting process, usually after suffering a traumatic and upsetting experience. I will work alongside other members of the team to provide you with the advice you need in an efficient and prompt manner so you can make informed decisions about your future. I aim to keep my clients regularly updated and guide and support them during what can often be a difficult time.
Prior to joining the Clinical Negligence team, I worked in the Private Client team and gained experience in preparing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Probate. Prior to that, I worked in the Employment and Dispute Resolution departments and have experience dealing with settlement agreements, redundancy situations, unfair dismissal and discrimination cases as well as contract claims, debt recovery and property disputes, with a particular focus on landlord and tenants disputes and possession proceedings.
I graduated from the University of the West of England with a First Class Honours Degree in Law, where I also completed the Legal Practice Course. I am fluent in Spanish, French and Italian. I joined Metcalfes as a paralegal in October 2017 and I am currently doing my last training contract seat in this department.
