I am a Solicitor working in the Private Client team. I am here to assist and guide you when making important decisions about you and your families’ future and ensure your best interests are protected.
I can assist you with a range of Private Client services including:
I am an Affiliate member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a fully accredited member of the Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE); organisations specifically built to train and highlight a specialist group of lawyers who support and make a difference to older and vulnerable people. I have also received training through the Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friends programme, an initiative that aims to change society’s perception of dementia. My training and additional qualifications have given me expertise in guiding the elderly, particularly those diagnosed with dementia, through a range of legal services. If you or someone you care for is elderly or has been diagnosed with dementia, I will ensure any service I provide is tailored accordingly and given an empathetic and considerate approach. I enjoy getting to know my clients and providing a friendly and supportive service during what can often be a difficult time, dealing with a loved one's estate or helping manage the affairs of a relative who is in long-term care. ExperienceI graduated from Aberystwyth University with a 2.1 LLB (Hons) in Law and continued my studies through the Legal Practice Course (LPC), graduating in 2012. After gaining my training contract in a Wiltshire based regional firm, I qualified as a Solicitor in 2015. Prior to joining Metcalfes in January 2019, I gained experience in administering complex estates with overseas assets, the creation and management of trusts and advising on the validity of home-made wills in the course of obtaining probate. I am proud to be a trustee for Centre for Thriving Places - an independent charity that supports a shift away from defining personal or societal success in terms of consumption by promoting the wellbeing of people and communities. Please get in touch for further information or advice on any of our Private Client services. |
