I am here to assist you in the planning of you and your families' future and ensure your best interests are protected.
I can assist you with the preparation of your Will and any associated trusts, together with relevant Inheritance Tax (IHT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), succession and care fees planning advice. I also advise and deal with the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney (relating to both your property & financial affairs and health & welfare decisions) and can also help you with the registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney.
If a loved one has died and you need help dealing with their estate, I can provide you with a friendly and supportive service in terms of its administration such as obtaining the Grant of Representation (otherwise known as Probate or Letters of Administration) advising you on your role and duties as a Personal Representative (whether as Executors or Administrators), dealing with associated IHT and CGT matters, together with realisation of the estate assets and their subsequent distribution, including the preparation of post-death Deeds of Variation.
I also specialise in the creation and administration of trusts, including Personal Injury Trusts, which can safeguard your entitlement to means-tested benefits and local authority payments for long-term care, if you have received a compensation award for personal injury or clinical negligence.
I graduated from the University of Bristol with a 2.1 LLB (Hons) in Law and went on to complete my LPC and qualify in 1999. I have been a solicitor specialising in Private Client matters for over eighteen years with extensive wills, estate, tax and trust knowledge and expertise. I am committed to providing my clients with a personal, bespoke, commercially-focused service and with pragmatic advice in an increasingly competitive legal market.
